Inspired by Two Boys, Built for an Entire Community
What started as a family's search for sensory-rich experiences for their two adopted sons, Bryan and Zaedyn, has grown into something far bigger than one family. Sarah and Ken Shropshire built WeeShire Mains Farms as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit sensory farm designed to provide meaningful experiences for children and adults of all ages and abilities. This article tells that story from the beginning — and it's worth a read.

Built by a Community, For a Community
WeeShire Mains Farms doesn't run on one family's effort alone. When neighbors show up, things happen. Johnson Construction donated the use of a skid steer to help move forward work on the planned 31-row blueberry field. A USDA grant is helping make the U-Pick blueberry destination a reality. Volunteers and local businesses have already begun stepping in to turn the dream into something real.

How You Can Be Part of It
A recent surgery has limited Sarah's abilities to perform much of the physical labor the farm requires. The need for volunteers and community support has never been greater. Every dollar stays in Kimball County. Every hand helps. If you've ever wanted to be part of something bigger than yourself, this is it.
